The Blackout is a rock band from the Merthyr Tydfil, Wales, formed in 2003. After supporting Lostprophets, Fightstar, Funeral for a friend and Eighteen Visions they released their first mini-album The Blackout! The Blackout! The Blackout!. In October 2007 the band released their debut album, We Are the Dynamite! which became the fastest selling record on their label at the time, Fierce Panda”. Their second record, The Best In Town was released on May 25 2009 in Europe and June 23 2009 in the US, both via Epitaph Records.
Sonic Boom Six
SONIC BOOM SIX, the explosive and outspoken Manchester-based five-piece, are the most compelling soundclash to rise from the underground in years. A true product of their city-centre environment, The Boom’s sound is as authentic as it is unique. Described by Kerrang! as taking ska, pop, grime, dubstep, punk and metal apart, then rebuilding them as a hyperactive hybrid, SB6 play firmly for the dance-floor while retaining enough power and aggression to be an active fixture of the UK’s rock and punk scenes.
Present Day TRUCKER DIABLO have self-released their debut album ‘The Devil Rhythm’, which features a guest appearance from fellow Northern Irish rocker and new Thin Lizzy frontman, Ricky Warwick. In addition to the endorsement from Ricky Warwick, the band has also received accolades from Joe Elliot (Def Leppard) and Cormac Neeson (The Answer). In the summer of 2011 the band were hand-picked by the Download festival promoters and performed on the Pepsi max stage in front of a 6,000 strong crowd while Dee Snider from Legendary rock band Twisted Sister watched from the side and stayed for the whole set.
