This Week’s Featured Artists.

See You In Reno

Hailing from Essex, See You In Reno are 4 guys who are masterminding a fresh new sound all of their own; it’s diverse, epic and haunting. The vocals embed themselves from your head to your heart, with throaty screams cutting to harmonic singing, all being backed up with layered guitars and smashing drums. The band have been writing music since ’07 and now have a catalogue of over 30 songs, having recording 4 EP’s with the 5th not far away.

Alvarez Kings

Alvarez Kings are a prominent band in the UK music scene who’s most notable performances include the 40 date US Warped Tour and some of the most famous music festivals in the world including SXSW, O2 Wireless festival and the Isle of Wight festival. Famed for their energetic live shows and charismatic performances, the self-acclaimed progressive pop band have been tipped by many as the next big thing to break out of Yorkshire.

Sound Of The Sirens

Formed in late 2009, Sound of the Sirens is a tale of serendipity, friendship and talent. Originally a 3-piece, the Exeter based band is now a duo. Abbe and Hannah are known for their unique blend of melody and exquisite harmonies and their live performances are charismatic and memorable. “Their music may be heavily influenced by folk but their vocal interplay takes its cue from the soul stylings of Destiny’s Child and En Vogue.” (Coventry Telegraph).

Little Arrow

Reared in the wilds of St. Davids in Pembrokeshire, Little Arrow bottle up the spirit of their natural surroundings and transpose it into an edgy, grunge folk cocktail. The resultant sound is one borne of the folk tradition, but with both feet firmly camped in more experimentally anthemic territories. Built around the delicately varied songwriting of William Hughes, their two LP’s have gathered a range of critical plaudits culminating in their second album, ‘Wild Wishes’, receiving a nomination for the 2013 Welsh Music Prize.

Liberty Lies

Liberty Lies are a five piece alternative hard rock band from the West Midlands. The band have toured Europe with the likes of Shinedown and Halestorm, as well as amassing slots with Rival Sons, Magnum and Heaven’s Basement. Earlier this year saw the release of their debut album, ‘Reflections’, which was produced by Romesh Dodangoda (Funeral For A Friend, The Blackout).
