Here’s everything you need to know about using any of BandApp services. The following will provide you with answers to commonly asked questions.

How do I know if my Computer / PC supports the content I have selected?
The content available has been tested on both Personal Computers and Apple Macintosh computers with the most popular internet browsers available on both platforms. If you do experience a problem with a certain configuration, please contact us at   and specify the machine and browser that you are using.

How do I know if my mobile phone supports BandApp?
BandApp is currently available for both iPhone, iPod Touch and Android devices. Other mobile devices and platforms will be made available in the future. These will be announced on the main website

Which mobile operators do these services support?
Services are available to all mobile operators, both postpaid and prepaid users, though it is advisable that your phone utilises 3G and is on an unlimited data plan or utilise Wi-Fi on your device where available.

How do I view the content on a Mobile Device?
Once you have completed building your BandApp and published your BandApp. You will be shown a link that you enter into your mobile devices Web browser to access your BandApp. Simply share this link with your fans/ Friends, using share feature.

Why does the music track or video take a long to load?

This can be caused by a variety of factors; network congestion, slow Internet connection, etc. If you still have problems playing a certain video, please email us at .

Who can view my BandApp?
Anyone can view your BandApp, the more, the merrier!

Why do I need to provide my PayPal account details or signup for a PayPal account?
Another service that will provided very soon is BandApp Music Licensing! If your unsigned, unpublished and not a member of  PRS or other performance society/ agency then BandApp can license your music to retail outlets, hotel chains, restaurant chains and telecom deals globally! All you need is your music on the BandAppStore. We ask for a PayPal account so that we can pay you your royalties if any of your music is used on these playlists.

What is PayPal?
PayPal is an E-Commerce business which allows payments and money transfers to be made through the Internet or via Mobile Devices. PayPal serves as an electronic alternative to traditional paper methods such as Cheques and Money Orders. When do I Get Paid From Track Sales, etc?
Once your earnings have reached £20.00 from track sales or licensing, then at the end of that calendar month our system will automatically transfer your earnings from BandApp to the PayPal account you provided on sign up

Why do I need to provide my SoundCloud account details or signup for a SoundCloud account?
SoundCloud provides BandApp with audio services, if you already have Soundcloud account, providing details will make your journey through BandApp easier. If you dont have a Soundcloud account, you will need one to stream and play your music within BandApp, see below.

Why do I need to register ?
If a particular website, or any product or service offered through the BandApp website requires you to open an account, you must complete the registration process by providing us with current, complete and accurate information as prompted by the applicable registration form. You will then be prompted to choose a password and a user name. You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account. Furthermore, you are entirely responsible for any and all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify BandApp immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. BandApp will not be liable for any loss that you may incur as a result of someone else using your password or account, either with or without your knowledge. However, you could be held liable for losses incurred by BandApp or another party due to someone else using your account or password. You may not use anyone else’s account at any time, without the permission of the account holder.

BandApp is committed to making respect the right of the user to access, rectify, modify and suppress the personal information in compliance within the articles of the Act. BandApp is committed to keeping secure the data you provide us and will take reasonable precautions to protect your personally identifiable information from loss, misuse or alteration. We are committed to responding in a timely manner to your requests to correct inaccuracies in your personal information. To correct such inaccuracies, please return the message containing the inaccuracies to the sender with details of the correction requested. If you would like to have deleted the personally-identifiable information you have submitted through the Sites from our marketing databases, please contact us. We will then use reasonable efforts to remove your personally identifiable information from our files.
